Island Hopping Greece With My Daughter: Why This Trip Meant So Much (And How I’d Plan It for You)
Some trips are about the destination. This one was about the experience—and who I got to share it with. I island-hopped through Greece with my daughter, and it became one of those trips I’ll remember forever
Stop 1: Mykonos (1 Night at Mykonos Blu)
We started in Mykonos, and even though we were only there for one night, it was the perfect introduction. After an early start and a hotel tour we had an afternoon on the beach. Then caught a local bus into Mykonos town - its exactly as you have seen in pictures. We wondered around the tiny streets taking it all in and took in the views fromt he famous windmills.
We stayed at Mykonos Blu, and the views alone were worth it. That iconic Greek scenery immediately set the tone.
Ferry Travel: Part of the Adventure We took ferries between each island, and it became part of the experience—watching each island come into view and truly feeling like we were traveling.
Stop 2: Paros (3 Nights in Naoussa)
Paros completely surprised me—in the best way.
Naoussa was charming, walkable, and not overly crowded. This is where we slowed down and really enjoyed being together. days spent reading on the beaches till late afternoon and then finding somewhere for dinner. The resort is very popular and bars and resturants aplenty!
Stop 3: Santorini (1 Night in Fira)
Santorini was our final stop—and it’s every bit as beautiful as you imagine. We visited Oia and experienced the Mamma Mia outdoor cinema, which was unforgettable.
Traveling With My Daughter-
This trip was about shared experiences, laughter, and discovering new places together.
Who I’d Recommend This Trip For
Perfect for mums/daughters of course, first-time Greece travelers, and those wanting a mix of energy and relaxation.
Final Thoughts
If Greece is on your list, this is a beautiful way to experience it—and I’d love to help you plan it.
