In need of some summer sun as a family, we have just returned from a week in Tenerife. Considering it was August school holidays the Island did not feel crazy busy as alot of the Mediterranean can feel this time of year. Our winter months are the most popular for Tenerife so the summer is a great time to visit.

We stayed at the lovely 5* Sherton La Caleta, situated right on the beach in La Caleta. Beautiful long walks and great little fish restaurants for long lunches with our boys. The pools at the hotel are great and although alot of pools in the canary islands are salt water the Sheraton la Caleta has a fresh water pool too (perfect for little bobby).

Great week of relaxing sun, beautiful seafood and long walks as a family – the boys loved it (as did we)!
