Customer Blog: Our family road trip around Nova Scotia.

We had the most amazing family road trip around Nova Scotia, and we have Lucy Morgans at Travel Counsellors to thank for it.

We weren’t the easiest clients because we didn’t really know where we wanted to go! We just knew we wanted somewhere in July that wouldn’t be overcrowded (not an easy task! 😅). Lucy listened carefully to what we were looking for, suggested several destinations, including Nova Scotia, and once we’d made our decision, she put together an incredible itinerary that completely exceeded our expectations.

Every detail was perfectly organised. We stayed in some truly unique places, including a lighthouse, a beautiful loft in an Eco Nature Resort, a geodesic dome, and a charming historic house in Lunenburg. We went whale watching and even had a mother whale and her calf swimming around our boat! We kayaked with our own guide to secluded islands and sandy beaches, and discovered places we would never have found on our own.

It was genuinely one of the best family holidays we’ve ever had, and we’re so grateful for all the time, care and expertise Lucy put into planning it. She absolutely understood the type of trip we were looking for, and everything came together perfectly.

We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Lucy again and would recommend her in a heartbeat.
