Singapore – A Journey of Luxury, Culture and Unforgettable Experiences

There are some trips that stay with you forever, and our recent visit to Singapore was undoubtedly one of them. From luxurious hotels and world-class dining to exhilarating experiences and hidden local gems, every day offered something special.

A Warm Singapore Welcome

Our adventure began with a warm welcome at the newly reimagined Grand Hyatt Singapore, perfectly located on Orchard Road in the heart of the city's shopping and entertainment district. The hotel provided a luxurious base for the weekend, combining elegant surroundings with exceptional hospitality.

After settling in, we gathered for welcome drinks in the iconic Martini Bar before enjoying a wonderful Italian dinner at Pete's Place. It was the perfect opportunity to catch up with colleagues and friends while looking ahead to an exciting few days.

Learning, Exploring and Seeing Singapore Differently

Friday morning began with a conference where we heard from our fantastic supplier partners and celebrated recent successes.

Following lunch overlooking Marina Bay at PS. Café One Fullerton, it was time for one of the most memorable sightseeing experiences imaginable.

Rather than boarding a coach, we climbed into vintage sidecars for a thrilling tour through the streets of Singapore. Riding through bustling neighbourhoods with the warm breeze and incredible skyline surrounding us gave us a completely different perspective of the city. It was sightseeing with a real sense of adventure.

That evening we enjoyed an outstanding dinner at CÉ LA VI, perched high above Singapore on the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands. Spectacular food was matched only by breathtaking panoramic views across the glittering skyline.

Cocktails, Heritage and Gardens

Saturday allowed us time to enjoy the hotel before experiencing another Singapore icon - the legendary Raffles Hotel.

Lunch in the historic Tiffin Room was followed by a fascinating cocktail masterclass, where we learnt the history behind the famous Singapore Sling while creating cocktails under the guidance of expert mixologists.

Later that afternoon we explored the magnificent Gardens by the Bay before enjoying drinks and canapés beneath the towering Supertrees. As darkness fell, the Garden Rhapsody light show transformed the gardens into a magical spectacle of music and colour. It was undoubtedly one of Singapore's most memorable attractions.

Sentosa Adventures

Our final full day began on Sentosa Island, where there was no shortage of excitement. Many of us took to the tracks for the exhilarating Electric Go-Kart Adventure, racing around the purpose-built circuit and embracing a little friendly competition.

Others chose to experience the Skyline Luge, relax in the private beach cabanas or make the most of the Discovery Pass to explore more of what the island has to offer. Whether seeking adventure or simply enjoying the tropical surroundings, Sentosa offered something for everyone.

The highlight of the evening was boarding the magnificent Royal Albatross, Asia's only luxury tall ship. As we sailed around Singapore's southern coastline, we enjoyed gourmet dining, live entertainment and one of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable. Watching the city skyline illuminate as darkness fell created the perfect finale to an incredible evening.

But the night wasn't quite over...

After returning from the Royal Albatross, a number of us headed to NOVA, one of Singapore's highest rooftop bars. Looking out over the illuminated skyline from such an incredible height was the perfect way to end the evening. The atmosphere was relaxed yet vibrant, and with spectacular views stretching across Marina Bay and beyond, it was easy to see why it's become one of the city's must-visit rooftop destinations.

Discovering Singapore Like a Local

One of the best parts of any trip is discovering where the locals eat.

On our evening at leisure, a group of us made our way to the famous Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre, widely regarded as one of Singapore's finest food markets. Surrounded by beautiful Victorian architecture, the atmosphere was buzzing with both locals and visitors.

From freshly grilled satay cooked over open charcoal flames to fragrant Hainanese chicken rice, chilli crab, noodles and fresh juices, every stall offered something tempting. It was authentic Singapore at its very best and a wonderful contrast to the fine dining experiences we'd enjoyed throughout the weekend.

One Last Stop... Chinatown

Before heading to the airport, we couldn't leave Singapore without one final visit to Chinatown.

The colourful streets were full of traditional shops, market stalls and boutiques selling everything from handcrafted souvenirs to local delicacies. It was the perfect place to pick up thoughtful gifts for family and friends back home while soaking up one last taste of Singapore's vibrant culture.

As we wandered through the bustling streets, it felt like the ideal way to bring our Singapore adventure to a close.

A Weekend to Remember

This trip perfectly showcased everything Singapore has to offer.

From luxury hotels and exceptional dining to thrilling adventures, authentic local food, breathtaking rooftop views and unforgettable moments on land and sea, every experience revealed a different side of this remarkable city.

Most importantly, it was a wonderful opportunity to spend time together, create lasting memories and experience the very best of Singapore.

It's a destination that effortlessly blends modern luxury with rich tradition, leaving every visitor with stories to tell and a desire to return.
