Fun in Finland

Flying From Liverpool Into A Winter Wonderland

We flew from Liverpool straight into a true Arctic adventure - the Snowmobile Voyager, a magical short break that shows off the wild beauty of Finland.

After landing, we were met by our local team and set off on a 2–3 hour coach journey. It sounds long, but it was part of the experience: the further we drove, the more the world turned into a snow‑covered dream of forests, frozen lakes and tiny wooden houses.

Our hotel was a joy Scandi/Finnish style, luxury touches and big views over the snow. Outside, there was just one supermarket, two little bars and endless wilderness. No crowds, no noise, just pure peace and white landscapes that went on for miles.

The standout moment was our snowmobile and Northern Lights experience. We sped along frozen rivers, across Arctic tundra and through pristine snowfields, with nothing but our headlights and the stars. Then the sky came alive, the Northern Lights appeared, soft at first, then dancing in green ribbons above us. It felt unreal. No words, no photos and no videos can fully capture how it feels to stand under a sky full of stars, with the snow crunching beneath your boots and the aurora dancing overhead.

Across 3 nights / 4 days, we packed in adventures, learned about reindeer and local life, and soaked up that incredible stillness you only get above the Arctic Circle.

This is a trip I can’t recommend enough. It is short, special and so much more powerful than any photos or words can truly show.
