Last evening together at Rocabella Mykonos

My Mykonos Journey: Handpicked Hideaways with Mr & Mrs Smith Hotels

Mykonos, I stayed at Nomad Mykonos, Myconian Ambassador, Bill & Coo Suite and Lounge, Rocabella Mykonos.

Spending four nights in Mykonos and staying in four different Mr & Mrs Smith hotels was the perfect way to really get under the skin of the island. Each property had its own personality, its own little rituals and its own style of luxury, so by the end of the trip I felt as if I had experienced four very different Mykonos escapes in one journey.

My first night was at Nomad Mykonos, and it instantly became my favourite of the four.

My room felt like a private sanctuary. The plunge pool actually began inside my room, then flowed out through a door to the terrace: it felt incredibly indulgent to step straight from the bedroom into the water. The layout was spacious and cleverly designed, with a generous shower room, two separate toilets, and two sinks so there was plenty of space to spread out. There was also a large bathtub in the room itself, perfect for a long soak, and even an outdoor kitchen area that made the space feel more like a private villa than a hotel room.

As lovely as the room was, what really stayed with me was a small but meaningful detail: the tamata. A tamata is a small metal offering traditionally used in Greece for religious purposes. People engrave or emboss them with symbols, names or prayers, then leave them at churches. At Nomad, these tamata are displayed on the wall at the entrance. It is a simple touch, but it creates a sense of intention and blessing as you arrive, and it beautifully blends Greek tradition with contemporary design. That combination of style, spirituality and warmth is what made Nomad stand out for me.

Night 2: Myconian Ambassador – Beach Vibes & Easy Access

For my second night, I moved to the Myconian Ambassador. This hotel is perfectly placed if you want to be close to the beach and soak up that classic Mykonos seaside atmosphere.

From here it is very easy to wander down to the sand, spend the day by the sea and dip in and out of the local restaurants and beach clubs. It felt relaxed and convenient, ideal for clients who want a stylish base with the beach practically on the doorstep, but still with the comforts of a quality hotel.

Night 3: Bill & Coo Suites & Lounge – Refined, Friendly & Delicious

My third night was at Bill & Coo Suites & Lounge, which quickly became another favourite. The atmosphere here is refined yet welcoming, so you feel instantly at home while still very much on a luxury escape.

What stood out most was the warmth of the team: genuinely friendly, attentive without being intrusive and clearly proud of the hotel. The food was also a real highlight. Every meal felt considered, from breakfast through to dinner, and it is exactly the kind of place I would recommend to clients who really care about their dining experiences as part of their holiday. If someone is looking for a stylish, intimate stay with excellent service and cuisine, Bill & Coo would be high on my list.

Night 4: Rocabella Mykonos – Stylish Base for Mykonos Town & Nightlife

For my final night, I checked into Rocabella Mykonos. This hotel is ideally located for clients who want to be near Mykonos Town and enjoy the nightlife.

Being close to town means you have easy access to the buzz: sunset cocktails, late dinners and those famously lively Mykonos evenings. At the same time, Rocabella gives you a comfortable, stylish retreat to come back to at the end of the night. It felt like the perfect finale to my four-hotel journey: waking up with sea views, then heading back into town for one last wander through the winding streets.
