You're in safe hands

Our independent Financial Trust and ATOL bond offers protection on every element of your booking.

Our Trust Account

What is it? A separate Trust Account, where any monies you pay towards the cost of your holiday package are safeguarded until after your return from holiday.

Why it matters: You’ll have one of the highest levels of financial protection available on the market Your money will be fully protected and accessible in the event of a supplier failure. Unlike other travel companies, you’re covered no matter whether you have booked a package holiday or just a flight, hotel stay, car hire or even airport parking. You’ll also have support to minimise disruption if you’re already abroad.

What is it? A financial protection scheme protecting most air package holidays sold by Travel Counsellors, run by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), and backed by the UK Government.

For every passenger Travel Counsellors carries, we make a payment to the scheme which is held in a fund managed by the Air Travel Trust.

Why it matters: If a travel business with an ATOL ceases trading, this fund is used to repatriate or reimburse the cost of repaying for the affected parts of your trip. You’ll have support to minimise disruption if you’re already abroad. If you aren’t able to travel, a full refund for the cost of your holiday will be provided.

The Latest Travel Advice

We have collated some frequently asked questions from our customers, which aim to guide you through the latest announcements. These include These include the latest updates on the traffic light system and how these affect your travel plans, the most up to date FCDO advice, and details about what to do if COVID-19 affects your booking.

As always, your Travel Counsellor will be just a phone call away to talk you through each of these and more, and to explain how they affect your personal situation.

The human touch that makes us different

As we see the world opening up once more, we can think of no better way to celebrate than to share our short film featuring a poem performed by Tony Walsh.

PCR testing

The requirement for a PCR test prior to departure will depend on the rules of the destination that you are travelling to, which is something that I can advise you on at the time of booking and keep you updated on until you travel. I can provide you with details of government approved PCR test providers, for both prior to departure and whilst you are abroad, some of which are offering savings on their usual prices.

Under the traffic light system, you may require evidence of a negative Covid-19 test taken within three days of your departure back to the UK, depending on your travel destination.
You may also be required to undertake additional tests (PCR or lateral flow) on your return. I can advise you on the requirements relevant to your booking.

We have also reviewed Covid-19 insurance providers and can now offer an even more comprehensive set of cover options including cancellation cover should you need to self-isolate within 14 days of departure.

What is it? Important. You must take out travel insurance as soon as you book your next trip. I will be pleased to talk through the enhanced travel insurance options provided by our partner, Rock Insurance.
Why it matters:
You’re covered before you travel, should you need to cancel your trip due to:

Being refused boarding at your UK airport regardless of if you then test positive or not
You’re covered during your trip should you fall ill with Covid-19:
Cover is available should your hotel need to close as a result of Covid-19
Medical Cover is available if you become ill with Covid-19 whilst overseas Cover is available if it becomes medically necessary to bring you home
Cost of additional accommodation and travelling is covered if you contract coronavirus whilst abroad
