Hi, I’m Gemma, a Travel Counsellor living in a beautiful village in rural Cambridgeshire with my husband Paul.
My love of travel started young; at 18 I embarked on my first solo trip to Australia and New Zealand where I spent a year travelling and working, it gave me such an understanding of why people fall in love with exploring the world. I knew I wanted to work within the travel industry and have since gained over 20 years’ experience. Tailoring holidays using a variety of top-class hotels to unique B&B’s, tours and local experiences to suit all budgets.
I offer a true one-to-one personalised travel service. I love getting to know people and pride myself in taking time to understand your likes and dislikes to create unique travel plans. Booking a holiday is an enjoyable and exciting experience. I will work hard for you, offer expert advice in getting the trip right and making sure every detail is correct and your trip is hassle free. In addition to this, everything you book is 100% financially protected against supplier failure by either ATOL or the Travel Counsellors Trust, giving you absolute peace of mind.
Holidays are all about experiences and creating memories that last a lifetime. Whilst working within the industry I have been fortunate to experience numerous different countries myself. My memorable travel experiences include; shark cage diving in Cape Town, exploring New Zealand by camper van, learning about Elephant conservation in Thailand, enjoying the music of the Deep South in America, riding desert dunes in Dubai, learning to cook in Vietnam, snorkelling with turtles in the Maldives and snowshoeing in Quebec.

Gemma has booked some holidays for us long haul in the past and we were always happy with the service, this time it was a short haul holiday, she listened to what we wanted and gave us 3 options, all fitted our brief. In the end we chose the Rhodes option, and the hotel and resort did not disappoint. Gemma provides an excellent service, I didn't even need to write on my luggage tags it was all done and sent to me. I would be very pleased to recommend Gemma to anyone she is like a human search engine, but with the personal touch that is missing from these type of sites.

Gemma has been really great right from the start.She got me exactly what I asked for under the budget that I gave her. We contacted Gemma to tailor make our China tour. By using her wealth of knowledge, she came up with a great itinerary that included all of our requests but also some places that we had not considered. Following a brilliant initial conversation with Gemma, discussing exactly what I was looking to achieve from my trip, Gemma researched and pulled together a great proposal for my trip to South America and South East Asia. Being a bit of a novice at all this, Gemma completely understood my specific requirements (a pain free booking process) and arranged me the exact journey I wanted to achieve and more! From initial enquiry to finally returning to the UK, Gemma’s bubbly personality made it a pleasure to book our special trip to Thailand. Her knowledge was excellent she recommended places she felt we would like having listened to what we wanted to do and she was spot-on.
Gemma endeavoured to get the best prices for our trip as we were travelling at peak time and she gave us options of places to stay so we could choose what suited us best. In all she understood what we wanted from our holiday and then took all the legwork out of doing it ourselves.
