Where would I begin? The SkyCouch on Air New Zealand was the best invention ever! Three seats that turned into a bed in economy, oh my god this was an amazing idea! Worth every penny! The cuddle strap that allows you to sleep on a made up bed with fluffy pillows and light duvet and not have to sit up through turbulence! Car hire companies are not at the airport and require a courtesy coach which can take up to 40 minutes due to the traffic through the airport. I upgraded and paid for a Mustang, what a dream that was! Worth every penny. Whilst in California you must rent a Mustang! The dream! The hotels were great and hosts amazing. We were met in the Loews Hollywood that surprised me but everywhere else the hosts were fantastic and honestly couldn't do anymore. They made sure we had their contact details and that they would look after our guests if we emailed or called ahead. My favourite in Hollywood was W hotel - worth every penny. I didn't realise how close the Walk of Fame, Chinese theatre/Kodak was! Our roof down and away we went to Santa Barbara - a stunning place with a great hotel, Harbour View on the beach. We stayed a couple of nights here and we tried out the bars/restaurants/discos and more! We also hired bikes which was the highlight of those two nights - great fun! We travelled to Santa Monica and stopped off at Paradise Cove in Malibu for a few selfies, a great celeb house-hunting opportunity. I absolutely loved Santa Monica where we stayed at the Le Meridian Delfim and wish it was longer - one night was too short! This is where the real California is and it lived up to its dreams. We did a site inspection of The Loews and it was excellent in so many ways. I have clients that stay in Shutters on the Beach and took a nosey in there and it was amazing - a great 5* hotel on the beach. The hotels here were amazing and in a great location. Also they now have a Metro that you can link up with Hollywood so you can stay here longer and have a day trip. Santa Monica is where I got to get my photo in the same bar as a programme I watched – Goliath, and I was in my element. I just wish more people knew as I am sure they must have thought I had gone mad! En route to Palm Springs we diverted and I took my Mustang top down and went to Rodeo Drive for a couple of hours to take in retail therapy and the famous Cupcake ATM. If I am honest Palm Springs was a lot bigger than I expected, with great hotels/resorts and good golf facilities. Lots of lovely restaurants and shopping. They have a great mountain range which overlooks the whole city with impressive views. Los Angeles airport is very busy and I do recommend you check in at least 3-4 hours before as the security at this airport is especially keen. California Dreamin!

I know we probably weren't the easiest couple to sort out as we were very indecisive, went through many options and we dragged on the process since January but you were very patient with us and keen to help us in any way to make sure we were happy with the choices and within our budget and it was not a problem to you to change or tailor any of the programmes we looked at. It definitely helps that you are very well travelled and knowledgeable we respected and appreciated your thoughts and opinions on places as we did not have a clue and found this difficult. You helped to make our final decision easy and we are so happy now we have finally reached our dream honeymoon destination and choices (relieved) we could not have done this without you. This most definitely will not be our only holiday we book with you (a certain someone's wedding in Rome next year) ;) . You work very hard Gillian and are brilliant at your job. Thank you so much ? Gillian has organised several trips for us, all of which have been excellent, thus so that we have asked Gillian to organise our honeymoon, which she has done with a high level of professionalism. I find Gillian to be excellent at her job, and will go out of her way to make your holiday special. No request is too big for Gillian, and I will continue to book my holidays with her as the level of service she provides is second to none.

As usual the standard of service and attention to detail was superb. We had a 7 day break in Spain which catered for all our needs including the sites (Alhambra) the cities (Sevilla) and the sea (Finca Cortesin)

We have been making bookings with Gillian for the past 7-8 years. We have found that Gillian has a really broad knowledge of the Travel industry. (I think she has been working in it for most of her life) This means that she has come across virtually every potential problem that exists....and most importantly , she knows how to avoid them altogether. In February 2009, I contacted Gillian to see about the possiblility of getting me flights to Entebbe Uganda in March!!..She was fantastic, and was able to secure me flights to London and Entebbe at such short notice...Whilst in Uganda BA staff went on strike which meant that my flights home had been cancelled. Gillian stayed in constant contact with me in Uganda and without any further cost to myself was able to get me on the next available flight home!!..I cant thank her enough for what she did for me at that time. I felt really confident and assured at what Gillian was doing for me and I had never any doubt in her ability to sort things out...Brilliant Gillian!!!..I have recommended Gillian and travel counsellors, you to many others since!!!..Big thank you...:-)

Gillian is the person you need to contact if you are travelling anywhere - she will find a holiday for you - take away all the hard work of trawling through brochures - and look after everthing in a most professional manner. I will not travel again without contacting her to organise my trip!

I really want to let you know what a wonderful job Gillian did in organising our holiday. She is fantastic at her job and right from the beginning of the experience, even when we initially talked about what we wanted to do, we knew we were in safe hands.
I know Gillian went to a lot of trouble to get us the best and she truly succeeded. I would also say that the price was very competitive and we were more than happy with that aspect of things.

I first came across Gillian when she worked at BA Travelshop in Belfast and she helped me out with flights to Cape Town on our very first trip to South Africa. She was extremely efficient, helpful and advisable about the whole booking service from the outset, even when I needed to contact her whilst in Cape Town to check return flights etc. A great contact to have without doubt!!
