An Enchanting Family Easter Holiday in Dubai: Luxury, Adventure & Lasting Memories Dubai may be known for its glittering skyscrapers and opulent lifestyle, but it also offers a wealth of family-friendly experiences. This Easter, we traded grey skies and drizzle for golden sand dunes, turquoise seas, and an unforgettable family escape in the heart of the UAE. From Easter egg hunts and camel rides to panoramic views from the Burj Khalifa, our time in Dubai was nothing short of extraordinary.

A Regal Stay at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray We began our holiday at the magnificent Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, a luxurious resort perched on the west crescent of the Palm Jumeirah. The design, inspired by Ottoman palaces, was both grand and elegant — with marble archways, hand-painted ceilings, and opulent chandeliers welcoming us at every turn.

Our family suite offered plenty of space, with plush bedding, a private balcony, and stunning views over the Arabian Gulf. The children were immediately drawn to the expansive infinity pool, while we made the most of the renowned Talise Ottoman Spa, indulging in a rare moment of tranquillity.

Easter Celebrations in the Sunshine Despite being in the Middle East, Easter was celebrated with charming enthusiasm. On Easter Sunday, the hotel gardens came alive with colour and laughter during a wonderfully organised Easter Egg Hunt. The little ones delighted in searching for chocolate treasures beneath palm trees, while attentive staff ensured every child felt included and delighted.

A Day of Adventure at Atlantis, The Palm One of the highlights of our week was a visit to Atlantis, The Palm. The iconic resort delivered on all fronts. At Aquaventure Waterpark, we braved record-breaking water slides, drifted along the lazy river, and splashed our way through a series of thrilling rides and splash zones.

After drying off, we ventured into The Lost Chambers Aquarium, where the children marvelled at rays, reef sharks, and mesmerising jellyfish. The underwater tunnels and interactive touch tanks made it both educational and magical — a hit with adults and children alike.

Dining in Style at Rockfish One of our most memorable evenings was spent at Rockfish, a refined Mediterranean seafood restaurant at Jumeirah Al Naseem. The setting was exquisite: an open-air terrace overlooking the Arabian Gulf, with the iconic Burj Al Arab glimmering in the distance.

We began with freshly grilled octopus and delicate sea bream crudo, followed by a salt-baked sea bass that was theatrically cracked open at our table — a visual and culinary delight. The children tucked into handmade prawn linguine, and dessert was a shared chocolate fondant, rich and melting at its centre. It was the perfect blend of sophistication and family-friendly charm.

Soaring Above Dubai: The Burj Khalifa Experience No trip to Dubai would be complete without ascending the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Our timed entry meant no queues, and we were whisked up to the 124th floor in under a minute via a futuristic lift. The views from the observation deck were utterly breathtaking. The children were fascinated, pointing out landmarks they recognised — the Palm, the marina, and even our hotel far below. It was a highlight for the whole family.

An Arabian Night in the Desert Another unforgettable experience was our evening desert safari. We set off across the dunes in a 4x4, bouncing over golden hills of sand as the sun began to set. The children were thrilled by the camel rides, and we all tried our hand at sandboarding, much to everyone’s amusement.

At the desert camp, we enjoyed a delicious barbecue buffet, with traditional mezze, grilled meats, and sweets. The evening was topped off with belly dancing, a fire show, and stargazing beneath a sky untouched by city lights — a moment of pure magic.

Palm Monorail: A Fun Family Journey For a more leisurely day, we boarded the Palm Monorail, which offered a fantastic view of the island and skyline. It felt like a mini adventure, especially for the children, and gave us easy access to The Pointe and other attractions on the Palm. Final Thoughts: A Family Holiday to Treasure Dubai during Easter proved to be the ideal destination for a family holiday — a harmonious blend of world-class luxury, engaging activities, and sunshine. Whether it was enjoying an egg hunt in the gardens of a five-star resort, dining by the sea at Rockfish, or riding camels beneath the stars, every day brought something unique and unforgettable.

For families seeking a safe, stylish, and sun-soaked Easter break, Dubai offers an experience that will linger in your memory long after the suitcases are unpacked.
