Thank you, Helen, for organising our trip. We had a fabulous break and we didn't have to think about anything as it was all planned out for us. From flight to taxi to ferry and hotel (and return), everything worked like clockwork and we would never have caught that early ferry on the first day if we had had to do it ourselves! The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful too. We are already starting to look at a trip for next year and we'll definitely be using you for our future travel plans.

I highly recommend Helen's services. I have a busy, full-time job and really value my holidays but never seem to have the time to get them researched and organised well enough, so I end up, with hubby in tow, with a bog-standard week on a beach. I decided to try the services of a travel counsellor as a friend had used one for trip to Thailand and was happy with the service. I looked for someone local to me and found Helen. Helen spent time understanding my needs, my budget and came back with suggestions for the trip I wanted to Croatia. Helen was able to adapt things and tweak things (like the size of the beds in the hotel) that were specific for our needs and a final quote was accepted. We came back from that trip yesterday and we loved it! It was a two-centre holiday with time in Split and in Dubrovnik. Everything worked so smoothly, all of our transfers were there on time, with the drivers courteous and efficient. Our hotels were great, the Hilton in Dubrovnik was exceptional. The tours Helen booked us in for were high quality and enjoyable. We felt looked after from beginning to end, we did not have to do anything apart from turn up, and that is exactly the kind of holiday we needed. I realise that I would never have booked this trip for myself, shying away from a 'posh' hotel like the Hilton, opting for something cheaper that we would not have liked, silly, isn't it? Using Helen meant I got a better holiday that I would have booked for myself at a similar price point. Although there were no issues, I feel that if we had needed Helen to deal any issues, I felt confident that if there were any problems Helen and the team at Travel Counsellors would have been there to resolve problems for us, which is reassuring. I would recommend Helen highly and fully intend to use her services again. Helen took a big job off my hands and delivered a better outcome than I would have achieved, and I thank her very much for that.

My family and I have just returned from a holiday to Dubai and the Maldives, which was arranged by Helen with efficiency and professionalism from the outset. Helen took the time and trouble to discuss with us what we were looking for and set about identifying appropriate options for us to choose from in both destinations, with suitable flights that matched our needs and maximised our holiday time. With flights and accommodation booked, Helen then offered suggestions of things to do in Dubai and, once we decided, arranged all the booking details. We have just had the most wonderful holiday organised by Helen and couldn’t recommend her enough. After a quick discussion to narrow down our budget/criteria for our holiday she found us three really great options that all met our criteria and that we would never have found without her. Half of our family unfortunately came down with norovirus the night before our holiday, but Helen and the TC emergency helpline dealt with everything for us and found new flights and arranged transfers for us really quickly. My wife and I had never visited Madeira previously so relied entirely on Helen's advice as to booking a short break. She arranged great flights on preferred airline and recommended 3 hotels any off which were acceptable. In fact the hotel we selected from her list was fantastic-we would recommend it to anyone based on service, quality and location. Helen arranged a requested half day tour around the Island which concentrated on the southern side of the island, and we learned that whole day tours would be required to go further afield. Transfers and the guide on this tour were all excellent. Helen is to be complimented on her knowledge and expertise in arranging a lovely short break that we both greatly enjoyed. We intend to feed back other information to her directly that may assist other clients seeking a similar trip to Madeira.

We (a retired couple) have just returned from an eleven night stay in St Lucia. It was our first time using a Travel Counsellor and what a joy it was having a professional do all the hard work! Helen organise a fantastic multigenerational holiday to Marrakech for my extended family. Helen was brilliant from booking our holiday in Abu Dhabi to making sure we were checked in on our flights and providing our boarding passes on the app and as an attachment to an email. All the transportation from and to the airport was arranged and it was great as we did not have to worry about a thing. It was my birthday while I was away and she even sent me a happy birthday message on th day. She did more towards making our holiday perfect than any other travel company I have used in the past.

She took all of the stress out of liaising with the hotel re. rooms, informing them of my son's nut allergy, check in for our flights, all of the documentation – it wasn't expected and truly appreciated.
