Race outcome was not what we had hoped for but that’s racing. We had a great adventure out, first time visit for Eire and at the Curragh. It was a long day but worth it. Message from my clients who were in Madeira when lockdown was announced 19/3/20: Field Marshall Lord Montgomery couldn’t have planned our relaxing but fourteen hour journey home better.Well done to Helen of Travel Counsellors! It was split into three stages and everything worked out exactly on time . Firstly, we had a tumble dryer take off, just in time it turned out from Madeira. Then a very leisurely lunch in the lovely Lisboa Airport . We were told hundreds of people were outside trying to get in. We think they had travelled from the Algarve and other resorts in Portugal desperate for flights home . Second the stage to Heathrow arriving spot on at a very very quiet airport. Finally stage three nipping up the motorways home arriving at 9-15pm. A very long day, but it had to be done. Thank you Helen

Helen organised a trip to Singapore and Phuket for 8 of us. We all went out together and then returned at different times and dates. The organisation for all 8 included extra leg room for taller ones in the group, seat coordination so we all sat together, pick up to and from the airports and hotels. Thank you Helen - Reuben and I enjoyed our trip to Palma, loved the old town, the palm trees and the weather! We also made a couple of trips out of the city. When we checked into the hotel we were given a room looking over the cordoned off swimming pool. We asked for a change and on our return later in the day were given a room with a balcony - so much nicer! I don't know why the pool was closed but can't say it affected our trip. I came across Helen quite by accident when I saw an ad for a Bon Jovi concert. I called the number and that's when I found Helen. I didn't realise it at the time, but I had found a new friend. I booked the concert and we had the best time, seats were perfect and the overnight accommodation was just right. Ever since then I have called on Helen to book my holiday, no problem is too much for her, she gets it all sorted out, then all we have to do is check in at the airport and the holiday starts then!! A holiday is big expense and we all look forward all year to that 2 weeks in the sun, and by trusting Helen to do all the hard work sorting it all out, I can be sure that it will all be ok, she's my "Holiday Fairy Godmother"!! Helen has recently arranged our holiday to the Azores and then a river cruise in Portugal. She has been fantastic! She sorted out all our bookings including some special help in the airports and found us wonderful hotels in just the right area of the cities we visited. All the travel arrangements including pick ups, taxis, car hire and picking up train tickets from the hotel went just like clockwork. Helen phoned me to sort out all the arrangements and I was free to contact her with any problems. She is such a lovely person to deal with and she has huge expertise. I would highly - very highly- recommend her services to anyone booking a holiday, however complex. She has booked our holidays previously and I hope will be doing so again.

We travelled to New Zealand, with stop off's in Singapore and Hong Kong. Helen organised everything for us. Not just the flights, but pickup from airports to hotel and back, ferries, camper vans and hotels. Everything went effortlessly for us and it made the 5 weeks a superb experience. It was all that I could have wished for. In particular the choice of hotels was exactly tailored for our needs, comfort, facilities and their location relative to the tourist areas and restaurants etc. I could not have planned it better.

Helen organised our special trip to Mauritius for our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel she chose for us was perfect in every way. She organised everything from valet parking at the airport, insurance, the whole package, making it a completely stress free experience. She even colluded with my sister in law to arrange for anniversary presents to be in our room when we arrived, along with champagne and a cake in the restaurant on our special day. Helen was fab from start to finish! She organised everything for our honeymoon including transfers and tours! All the hotel locations were fantastic and very central. We initially got some quotes from a leading tour operator and but Helen got us a deal that was cheaper, two nights longer and in better location! In fact, before we even went on our honeymoon we asked Helen to look into our next holiday! It was excellent and Helen is such a lovely person who answered any time of day and any silly question I might have had. Thank you Helen for the honeymoon of a lifetime!
