Dubai is home to the world's tallest building - The Burj Khalifa. The structure is based on an abstract take of the Hymenocallis flower.

The Dubai Fountain is a big draw for visitors, spoiling onlookers with an incredible sound, light, water and music show that is truly breath-taking. For something extra special, hop in a boat and enjoy a ride on the lake that surrounds the fountain. Then there’s cultural and historical attractions such as Jumeirah Mosque to enjoy. This is the only mosque in Dubai that welcomes non-Muslim visitors six days a week and is a true architectural gem. You can even learn about Emirati culture on a guided tour, then enjoy Arabic coffee, tea and traditional pastries. And of course, no trip to Dubai would be complete without a spot of shopping. Head to Dubai Mall to shop til’ you drop at more than 1200 stores. There’s plenty to keep the whole family entertained whilst you’re shopping, as there’s an aquarium, ice rink, cinema and flight simulator experience in the mall too, to name just a few.

Machboos
A traditional rice dish made with a mix of spices including cinnamon, cardamom and lime. Machboos is usually made with chicken but lamb and seafood versions are also found.
Tabbouleh
A fresh Middle Eastern salad made with parsley, mint, green onion cucumber and tomato. A simple dressing of olive oil, garlic and lemon juice is drizzled over the top.
Chebab
Emirati-style pancakes usually served at breakfast, Chebab's are made from yellow flatbreads light spiced with saffron and cardamom. Served with date-syrup and cream cheese.
Interesting Fact:
UAE National Day is 2nd December, celebrating the unification of the seven emirates. This day is widely anticipated and plenty of festivities are planned to celebrate every year.
