It's Nice To Meet You

Please let me tell you a bit about myself and some of the benefits of booking a holiday with me and Travel Counsellors.

I have previously worked for two of the UK’s leading high street travel companies, which enabled me to gain invaluable knowledge of the travel industry. I have also been fortunate enough to have travelled extensively in Asia, Africa, North and South America, the Middle East and I have lived in both Australia and New Zealand. In this time, I have stayed in many different styles of accommodation, ranging from campsites in the Serengeti to 5* water villas in the Maldives, so I can use all of my personal expreinces to make recommendations to help make your trip perfect!

On top of this, when you book your holiday with me, you're not just booking with me, you're booking with the award-winning Travel Counsellors. I will look after all aspects of your holiday, but behind the scenes at Travel Counsellors head office, there are over 300 people working to make it all possible and run perfectly, from our commercial team who negotiate exclusive rates and offers, to our 24/7 Duty Office who are always available when you're away, in case of an emergency!

Travel Counsellors were voted the number 1 travel company by Money Saving Expert on 3 occasions for how well we looked after customers and their money during the pandemic! Luckily, that is all behind us now, but it really showed how important it is to book your holiday with someone you can trust!

So we booked a jet2 holiday with James during August school holidays. I really can’t recommend enough, he was beyond helpful and professional and was so re-assuring for all the uncertainty around holidays today. He booked our dream holiday as a family of 4, 2 adults, and 2 kids, one 12 and one 3. The destination was so perfect for a family and tests were so easy to get. James went above and beyond with contact and assistance throughout the holiday. If you are thinking of a holiday abroad, which is totally safe and achievable, please consider James, he looked after and advised us all the way. That comfort is worth more than anything. I would just like to take the opportunity to thank James for his fantastic customer service throughout the booking process and beyond. Due to my stepdaughter being 14 we had to provide a negative PCR test within 72 hours of arrival at our destination. 12 hours before we were due to leave for the airport, we received a void test result due to an error at the testing centre. At this point we got in touch with James as we were running out of ideas. James was actually on holiday himself at this time, laid on the beach to be exact! He dropped everything straight away and worked tirelessly. After hours of trying to find a test centre that we could get to and receive the results in time, we found nothing and had basically given up. With that, James found a test centre, sent over the booking details and we got there just in time. Thankfully, we received a negative test result with hours to spare. In a nutshell, James took time out of his own holiday to save my family’s and we can’t thank him enough!! I can highly recommend James, we have already booked another holiday with him and will 100% be doing so again in the future. James goes above and beyond to help out his clients and has a great knowledge of the travel industry. Thanks again!

Have booked my 2022 holiday with James. A very easy process, James did all the hard work and came back with 3 holidays in what I would consider luxury destinations all within our price range. James has travelled worldwide and so can recommend so many places and experiences. Cannot recommend enough, thank you James, we are very excited for Cuba! xx
