Good Energy with Neilson - Messini

This time it was Messini in the southern Peleponnese.

Enjoying a short transfer, Messini is located on a huge sandy beach in a fairly rural area of Greece (near Kalamata and ancient Messenia).

As expected, Neilson provide a wide choice of water sports; sailing, wind surfing, paddle boarding, water skiing and wakeboarding.

The large swimming pool provided a relaxing retreat from all the activities although I did enjoy some swimming clinics and aquafit! There was a wide choice of fitness classes (with sea views), tennis and cycling of course, but the highlight for us this year was Pickleball. We loved it so much we now play at home!

The buffet was varied and to a high standard - the giant crème brulee was a triumph! There were 2 or 3 local tavernas within walking distance for our nights out and the pizzas at the pool bar were pretty good too – we didn’t go home hungry!

All in all it was a great holiday. The wind was a little disappointing (for Geoff to wind surf) but the pickleball and tennis made up for it!
