You Dream It. I’ll Plan It. Your Personal Travel Counsellor in Heywood
Hello and a very warm welcome. I am Laura, your personal Travel Counsellor, based in Heywood, Greater Manchester, where I live with my husband, Kurt, and our 7‑year‑old son, Gabriel. Oh and our 10 week old boarder collie, Tess :-)
Travel has always played a huge part in my life. I have been fortunate enough to explore a wide variety of destinations and create some truly unforgettable memories: honeymooning in the Maldives, chasing the Northern Lights in Iceland, watching the Ashes in Australia, swimming with turtles in Barbados, and clocking up what felt like a million steps a day at Disneyland Paris. For me, these experiences highlight that there really is something for everyone in the world of travel.
As a family, we regularly visit Spain and Greece for our summer holidays, often choosing a different island, region or resort each time so that we can keep discovering new favourites. With every trip I “tick off”, at least one or two more destinations get added to my ever‑growing bucket list, so I am always looking ahead to the next adventure.
I am extremely organised and thrive on the detail. I know first‑hand that planning a holiday can sometimes feel overwhelming, with so many options and opinions to sift through. That is exactly where I come in. I am here to listen, to understand what matters most to you, and to take care of all the time‑consuming research and comparison, so you do not have to.
Working with me means:
A completely bespoke, tailor‑made holiday designed around you
Full financial protection for complete peace of mind
Personal support from your own dedicated Travel Counsellor, including when you are away
Whether you are dreaming of a luxury honeymoon, a sun‑soaked family escape, a once‑in‑a‑lifetime adventure or a magical Disney break, I would love to help bring your plans to life.
I cannot wait to help you with your future travel plans, so please do get in touch and let us start building your perfect trip together.

From Stethoscopes to Suitcases – My Journey of Change (and Mild Panic)
Up until this week, I was working full-time in the NHS, where I'd spent the better part of 20 years deciphering doctor's handwriting, surviving back-to-back shifts, and learning how to drink coffee that was always cold. I never imagined I’d trade it all in for passports, packing lists, and researching which countries have the best cocktail-to-beach ratio. But here we are. Last year, I made a hug

Why September is a good time to travel
Whilst it has been a few years since I have been able to take advantage of some extremely good value options for travelling in September… I wanted to share some thoughts on why I feel it’s a perfect month to consider your travel options and some recommendations on places to visit. 1. End of Summer Sunshine Escape If you are chasing warmth, sea and sun-soaked scenery then there are a number of de

UK Breaks - London on a Budget
Whilst travelling the world is an amazing thought, there are also so many wonderful places to visit that are practically on our doorstep. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing I love more than a week on the beach, in the sun, sipping a cocktail (or two). But… I also love to explore the UK and see what we have to offer. UK mini breaks can be more budget friendly, shorter in duration (so time of

Disneyland Paris - The Converted
Earlier this year we (my husband and 5 year old son) were lucky enough to experience the magic that is Disneyland Paris. Our son is completely mad on anything superhero related and has recently been watching some Disney films too. As an adult, who has never been to Disney, I just wasn’t sure what to expect! I’m a beach, book and pina colada kind of girl and therefore whilst I was completely commi
