I’m Lorna, your independent Travel Counsellor based in Dorking, Surrey, where I live with my husband and two children. I offer both leisure and business travel services, designing tailored trips for families, couples, solo travellers and corporate clients who value personal service, expert guidance and attention to detail.

Travel has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I’ve now visited over 20 countries. Before launching my travel business, I spent 20 years as a Crime Scene Investigator in the Police, using every bit of annual leave to explore the world. Over the years I’ve enjoyed some incredible experiences: watching fireflies light up the night in Borneo, sandboarding in Dubai, cycling past rice paddies in Thailand, surfing in Panama, dancing at a luau in Hawaii and even boiling eggs in a volcano in Bali.

Now, as a mum, I love sharing the world with my children and creating those “forever memories” for our own family too. When they were younger we spent many happy holidays in Spain, and more recently we have travelled further afield together to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

I am also passionate about fitness and play touch rugby at club level, as well as nationally and internationally, and I am currently part of the England high performance programme. My sporting background means that, alongside individual leisure and corporate trips, I organise group travel, particularly for sports teams and event-related travel.

Becoming a Travel Counsellor has allowed me to combine my organisational skills, eye for detail and first-hand travel knowledge to support both holidaymakers and business travellers. I create bespoke itineraries, arrange complex multi-sector journeys, and manage the finer details such as transfers, rail, car hire, meeting schedules and group arrangements.
