Amalfi Coast Adventures: A Romantic Escape in April

In April 2023, my partner and I embarked on a journey through some of Italy·s most captivating destinations·each offering its own blend of history, beauty, and charm. From ancient ruins to island glamour, here·s a glimpse into our unforgettable escape.

Sant·Agnello: Our Peaceful Base We stayed in Sant·Agnello, a quiet gem just outside Sorrento. It was the perfect retreat·peaceful, authentic, and close enough to explore the coast without the bustle. The views from the cliffside promenade were breathtaking, especially at sunset.

Sorrento: Gateway to the Coast Sorrento was our launchpad for day trips and ferry rides. We loved wandering its cobbled streets, sipping limoncello, and soaking up the lively atmosphere in Piazza Tasso.

Positano: Cliffside Romance A day in Positano felt like stepping into a postcard. We explored boutique shops, lounged on the beach, and enjoyed a scenic lunch with views that stretched endlessly across the sea.

Capri: Island Elegance We took a ferry to Capri, where we visited the Blue Grotto, strolled through Capri Town, and rode the chairlift to Monte Solaro. It was a highlight of our trip·glamorous yet full of natural wonder.

Pompeii & Herculaneum: Echoes of the Past Exploring Pompeii and Herculaneum was deeply moving. The ruins told stories of everyday Roman life frozen in time. Herculaneum, in particular, felt more intimate and better preserved, making it a must-see for history lovers.
