Many thanks for your help in these circumstances, I am very grateful that you are still fighting our corner. On the one hand I feel aggrieved that the Insurance not only took ages but that they won't cover the rebooked New Zealand flights and hotels (that we didn't in fact take), on the other hand if we had got to New Zealand I have a suspicion that we would have fared worse in the end even though it seemed the right thing to do. And the extra few days in Australia turned out well because we got to know better my niece and nephew who live near Sydney. We got away lightly not only financially but also stress and anxiety which those who became stranded must have felt. Our holiday was not what we expected but you did and have done everything possible for us to make it as good as it could be!
