I’m Melanie Brown (Mel B), a Travel Counsellor based in East London, specialising in luxury Caribbean escapes and cruises for clients who like their holidays “a little bougie”.
Travel has always been a constant in my life. My background spans aviation, beauty and cruise, plus years of exploring the world with my three children. I have seen first-hand how the right trip can leave someone relaxed, confident and completely spoiled, and that is exactly what I aim to create for my clients.
I focus on premium Caribbean and cruise holidays: stylish suites, great food and service, and itineraries that feel effortlessly put together. I have travelled widely across the Caribbean and beyond, including Antigua, Barbados, Jamaica, New York, Cancun, Bermuda, Toronto, Rio, Dubai, Cairo and the Maldives. This first-hand experience gives me a strong sense of what true luxury looks and feels like in different destinations, and helps me match each client to the right island, ship or resort.
Cruise is a particular strength. My time at sea means I understand how ships really work: which cabins are worth the upgrade, which itineraries offer the best mix of relaxation and discovery, and how to make days in port feel special instead of rushed. Whether someone is a first-time cruiser or a seasoned sailor, I guide them towards the sailing that fits their style.
The Caribbean is my main focus and Jamaica is my first love. I hold specialist accreditation as a Jamaican expert, and my recommendations for hotels, beaches and experiences are based on genuine, on-the-ground insight rather than brochure promises.
What matters most to me is how a holiday feels for the individual or family. I take time to understand what luxury means to each client, then use my experience as a traveller, a mum and a former aviation and cruise professional to shape trips that run smoothly from start to finish: from sensible flight times and private transfers to special-occasion dinners and the right balance of activity and downtime.
