Based In St Martin
Hello, my name is Nicki Harrison and I'm a Travel Counsellor based in Guernsey.
I provide a personal travel service using my years of experience as a travel agent, valued customer feedback and the award-winning technology provided by Travel Counsellors to create unique travel itineraries that will leave you with stories to last a lifetime. A quote that truly resonates with me is one from Ibn Battuta...
“Travelling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.”
I have a myriad of wonderful stories to share thanks to the travels I've been so lucky to enjoy, and I love to hear your stories in return. I aim to provide the best service I can to our Guernsey community, but my service is much more than just making a booking. I'll be on hand to help you with all the little touches that will make your trip special and just a message or call away should you need any help while abroad.
As a born and bred Guernsey donkey, I understand the needs of local travellers and aim to make the world feel that little bit more accessible. My goal is to be approachable and inclusive, an ethos that's based around the idea of togetherness... working with you to bring the destinations on your bucket list that little bit closer. At every step of your travel journey, you will receive the best care I can offer.
I'll always take the time to get to know you and what will make your trip extra special. From visiting you at home or at a favoured cafe to start chatting about your plans, to getting all the arrangements sorted, making sure any dietary, medical or mobility needs are taken care of, delivering your tickets and then catching up when you get home. Becoming a mum in 2024 also opened my eyes to the world of family travel and the priorities of parents. Whether you have a youngster like me or travelling as part of a multi-generational party, I can help to make sure everyone's needs are catered for.
Shortly after starting my career in travel, I have been developing my interest in special occasion holidays such as weddings and honeymoons. I hold a City & Guilds qualification in Travel & Tourism as well as an online diploma in Wedding and Event Management and have spent years helping couples from all walks of life to arrange memorable trips to celebrate their special moments. Whether it's a short city break or an around the world adventure, the key to building the perfect trip is in the detail and I hope to be able to help create an authentic, bespoke itinerary just for you soon.
As your personal Travel Counsellor, I want to ensure your holiday is ‘once in a lifetime’ every time.

When it comes to travel, it’s so important to know you are booking with someone you can rely on, who knows exactly what you need each and every time and that you can genuinely trust. Trust has been recorded as the single most important factor when booking a holiday with 93% of UK travellers saying they plan and look forward to their holiday all year round and that getting personal service from a

The final leg of our Canadian honeymoon was to beautiful British Columbia where we planned to visit Clearwater, Vancouver and Knight's Inlet. After we left Jasper we started making our way to Clearwater, a overnight stop to break-up the long drive to Vancouver. To prove that we relied on our Sat Nav too much (you'd think we'd have learned after our experience in Niagara) we followed it withou

We flew from Toronto to Calgary to continue our journey through Canada. Our next destination, The Rockies! We arrived at the airport and headed to the Avis desk to collect our car and much to my husband's disappointment they were going to give us a Nissan. ‘Were' being the operative word. After some subtle negotiations, the lovely guy behind the desk offered us a complimentary upgrade to a full-si

My husband and I both had one place at the top of our bucket list and it was Canada. So when it came to choosing our honeymoon destination, it was a pretty easy choice. We spent a wonderful 3 weeks travelling across the country and we started in Ontario visiting Toronto and Niagara Falls. We flew from London Heathrow to Toronto with Air Canada and was pleasantly surprised with the comfort even

If there was ever an experience that will take your breath away and get you up-close and personal with the best of Canada's wildlife - this is it! Located about 50 air miles north of Campbell River, is the wild and remote area known as Knight's Inlet. I visited Knight's Inlet Lodge with my husband on my honeymoon in June 2016 and although it was just 2 days of our 3 week adventure in Canada, it
