Val Thorens is a superb choice for skiers who want scale, altitude, and reliability late in the season. As part of the vast Three Valleys ski area, it gives you access to around 373 miles of slopes across the French Savoie, with routes suited to building confidence, covering serious distance, or simply enjoying long mountain lunches between runs. The high-altitude setting means early April can still deliver excellent ski conditions, alongside longer days and a more relaxed spring atmosphere.
Club Med’s all-inclusive ski concept removes much of the usual planning. With your lift pass and group ski or snowboard lessons included, you can focus on enjoying the mountain rather than arranging the details separately. Meals, drinks, après-ski, and evening entertainment are also part of the experience, giving the week a sociable, resort-style feel from breakfast through to the final drink of the evening.
Back at the resort, the mood is modern and lively.
