There’s plenty of terrace space for dining or unwinding in the shade, and while you’re not directly on the beach, some of the area’s best spots like Bataria and Kanoni are just a short drive away.

• The surrounding area offers more than just good views. Kassiopi itself is a working harbour where fishing boats still come and go, and the ruins of Kassiopi Castle look out across the coastline. You can spend time browsing small local shops, stopping for a coffee by the water, or heading slightly further afield to places like Kalami, once home to writer Lawrence Durrell, or Agios Stefanos, where you can hire a boat and explore the coastline from a different angle.

• Food here leans heavily on local ingredients and long-standing recipes. Along the harbour in Kassiopi, tavernas serve freshly caught fish, grilled meats, and Corfiot staples, with spots like Tavernaki and The Old School House drawing both locals and returning visitors. Inland, Old Perithia offers something different, with stone houses and traditional tavernas serving dishes like slow-cooked lamb and rich tomato-based stews, often paired with locally produced wine.

• Back at Villa Moira, the bedrooms are designed with comfort in mind, with light, uncluttered interiors and everything you need for a relaxed stay.
