When you are ready to explore, Koh Yao Yai offers a more peaceful side of Thailand. Take a trip to Laem Had Beach, follow the island roads by bicycle or sidecar, or head out by boat to Hong Island, where you can swim in the lagoon, snorkel, and take in the limestone scenery. Back on the island, you can visit local villages, see rubber plantations, and try traditional batik and coconut-leaf crafts.

At The Beach Restaurant, fresh seafood, steaks, and international dishes are served beside the shore, while The Food Truck offers something more casual during the day.
