Your journey begins in Italy, with Salerno followed by two days in Sicily. In Catania, Mount Etna provides an impressive backdrop to a city known for its Baroque architecture, busy food markets, and distinctive Sicilian cooking. Walk around Piazza del Duomo, see the city’s black-lava stone buildings, and make time for local favourites such as pasta alla Norma, arancini, and cannoli before returning to the ship.

Next, you’ll head across the Adriatic to Kotor in Montenegro. The approach is a highlight in itself, with steep mountains rising around the Bay of Kotor. Once ashore, wander through the UNESCO-listed Old Town, where narrow lanes lead between medieval churches, stone squares, cafés, and small shops. For a different perspective, climb part of the route towards San Giovanni Fortress for views across the terracotta rooftops and bay.

From Montenegro, you’ll continue to Dubrovnik. Its medieval city walls, limestone streets, and distinctive, red-roofed old town make it one of the Adriatic’s standout stops. Walk the famous walls for views across the city and sea, head down Stradun towards the historic harbour, or find a quieter side street for a relaxed lunch of fresh seafood, black risotto, or traditional Croatian dishes.
