Start with four nights in Cape Town, staying at Hotel Sky Cape Town. An included half-day Table Mountain and city tour gives you a strong introduction to the city, from its famous mountain backdrop to its coastal views and key landmarks. After that, the time is yours to explore independently, whether you’re drawn to the V&A Waterfront, beaches, restaurants, or characterful neighbourhoods.

From Cape Town, drive into the winelands for two nights in Franschhoek, one of South Africa’s most beautiful food and wine regions. Spend your time between vineyard estates, cellar-door tastings, and relaxed lunches before continuing along the route to Oudtshoorn, where La Plume Boutique Hotel and Spa gives you a one-night stop in the heart of the Klein Karoo.

You’ll then continue on to Plettenberg Bay for four nights on the Garden Route. This is the coastal pause in the itinerary, with time for beach walks, ocean viewpoints, relaxed meals, and independent exploring along one of South Africa’s most scenic stretches of coastline.
- The journey ends with a three-night all-inclusive stay at Pumba Private Game Reserve, a 5-star safari reserve and home to the Big Five. You’ll be based at the Water Lodge, which sits among dense bushveld overlooking Lake Cariega, creating a peaceful setting between game drives. The reserve is known for its rare white lions, alongside hippo, hyena, cheetah, giraffe, and more than 300 bird species.
