Your first stop is Philipsburg in Sint Maarten, where you’ll have ten hours to explore the island. Spend some time around the colourful streets, shops, and waterfront of the capital, or head further along the coast to Maho Beach, famous for the aircraft that pass remarkably low overhead as they approach the nearby airport. For a slower afternoon, Simpson Bay offers plenty of places to stop for fresh seafood, drinks, and views across the water.

Next, you’ll arrive in Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. The island is known for its hilly landscapes, sheltered bays, and excellent beaches, with Cane Garden Bay among its best-known stretches of sand. You could also use your day here as a chance to get out on the water, with neighbouring Virgin Gorda home to The Baths, where enormous granite boulders form natural pools, caves, and pathways beside the sea.

From here, you’ll continue to San Juan, where you’ll have nine hours to explore Puerto Rico’s historic capital. Wander through Old San Juan, with its cobbled streets and colourful buildings, visit the centuries-old Castillo San Felipe del Morro, or stop at a local restaurant for Puerto Rican favourites such as mofongo. It’s a great port for combining historic sights, good food, and time simply exploring at your own pace.

Throughout the cruise, you’ll stay aboard Brilliant Lady in a Sea Terrace Balcony cabin, giving you private outdoor space to enjoy between destinations.
