• South of Oklahoma City, the landscape changes as you arrive in Chickasaw Country, where First American heritage and spectacular scenery come together. Visit the Chickasaw Cultural Center to learn about the history and traditions of the Chickasaw Nation before exploring the lakes, springs, and walking trails of the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Continue to Turner Falls Park, home to Oklahoma's tallest waterfall, or extend your stay with a night in one of the floating cabins on Lake Murray for a completely different side to the American road trip experience.
