• You’ll start in Sydney, where you can introduce the family to some of Australia’s most recognisable sights. Spend time around Circular Quay to see the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, explore the historic streets of The Rocks, or head towards Darling Harbour for waterfront restaurants and family-friendly attractions. There’s plenty of flexibility here, whether you want busy sightseeing days or a more relaxed afternoon by the harbour.

• Next, you’ll be on the Gold Coast, where four nights give you time to enjoy its long sandy beaches alongside two included family days out. Take on the rides and shows at Warner Bros. Movie World, then cool off at Wet’n’Wild with waterslides, pools, and attractions for different ages. You can also spend time around Surfers Paradise, grab something to eat close to the beachfront, or simply enjoy a slower day by the sea between the theme parks.

• Your final stop is Cairns, where two included experiences showcase very different sides of Tropical North Queensland. Head out on a Reef Magic Marine World Cruise to experience the Great Barrier Reef, with the Marine World pontoon providing a base for seeing the coral and marine life up close. You’ll also visit Kuranda, a mountain village surrounded by tropical rainforest and known for its markets, cafés, and local arts.

• Throughout the trip, your accommodation gives the family a comfortable base in each destination. You’ll spend three nights at Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites, where a two-bedroom apartment provides useful extra space for family life, followed by four nights at voco Gold Coast, an IHG hotel close to the action of Surfers Paradise. Your final four nights are at Crystalbrook Bailey Cairns, a contemporary hotel in central Cairns, with twin-room accommodation making it a convenient base for your reef and rainforest adventures.
