Your first stop is San Juan, Puerto Rico, where centuries of history meet a lively waterfront. Wander through the blue cobbled streets of Old San Juan, visit the impressive El Morro fortress overlooking the Atlantic, and pause at a local café to try traditional mofongo or a refreshing piña colada. It's a destination that's easy to explore on foot, with plenty of independent shops, galleries, and sea views around every corner.
Next, you'll be in St John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where much of the island is protected as Virgin Islands National Park. Spend the day unwinding on the white sands of Trunk Bay, snorkel along its famous underwater trail, or take one of the scenic walking routes through tropical woodland to historic sugar plantation ruins. It's one of the Caribbean's quieter islands and offers a slower pace that feels a world away from everyday life.
Later in the voyage, you'll arrive in Willemstad, Curaçao, where brightly painted Dutch colonial buildings line the waterfront. Cross the floating Queen Emma Bridge, browse the Floating Market for local produce, and sample island specialities such as keshi yena or freshly caught seafood at one of the harbour restaurants. Before reaching Barbados, the ship also calls at the peaceful island of Bequia, adding another laid-back Caribbean stop to the journey.
Throughout your voyage aboard Silver Spirit, you'll enjoy access to multiple restaurants with open-seating dining, premium wines and spirits, complimentary Wi-Fi, and enrichment lectures.
