Your journey begins with a call at Le Havre, your gateway to Normandy and Paris. You could spend the day exploring the French capital, from the cafés and boutiques of Saint-Germain-des-Prés to landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. Alternatively, stay closer to the coast and experience Normandy, with its seaside towns, historic sites, and distinctive regional cuisine.

Later, you’ll spend two days in Bordeaux, giving you more time to get to know the city and its famous wine region. Walk along the Garonne to Place de la Bourse, explore the historic streets around Saint-Pierre, or head beyond the city to renowned wine areas such as Saint-Émilion. An overnight stay means there’s no need to rush back on board, so you can also enjoy Bordeaux’s restaurants and wine bars into the evening.

From France, you’ll continue to Bilbao on Spain’s northern coast. The Guggenheim Museum is one of the city’s best-known sights, but there’s plenty more to see beyond its striking architecture. Head into the Casco Viejo for narrow streets, traditional bars, and local pintxos, perhaps paired with a glass of txakoli, before taking a walk along the Nervión River.
