Your journey begins in Venice, where grand landmarks, quiet canals, and historic squares create an impressive introduction to Italy. Visit St Mark’s Basilica, admire the Doge’s Palace, or wander through the narrow streets around the Rialto Bridge before returning to the ship. Next, you’ll sail towards Mazzorbo, a quieter island in the Venetian Lagoon known for its vineyards, gardens, and relaxed atmosphere.

As the cruise continues along the River Po, you’ll pass through Taglio di Po and Polesella, where life moves at a gentler pace. These riverside communities provide an opportunity to experience local northern Italian flavours, with regional dishes such as handmade pasta, risotto, cured meats, and seasonal produce. The route then continues to Revere and Boretto, both offering a more traditional side of the Po Valley, before reaching Cremona, the final destination on the itinerary.

Cremona is especially known for its connection to Antonio Stradivari and the art of violin making. At the Museo del Violino, you can learn how the city became associated with some of the finest string instruments ever made. An included Signature Excursion gives you the chance to explore one of the itinerary’s key highlights.

Throughout the trip, you’ll stay aboard VIVA UNIQUE, which commences sailing in May 2027. The ship offers an intimate setting, including a panoramic lounge, a restaurant, a bar, and comfortable spaces for watching the scenery along the river.
