Start your stay at Amari Phuket, set on a peaceful headland at the southern end of Patong. There are three swimming pools, direct access to the beach, the Breeze Spa, and several places to eat and unwind, including La Gritta, the resort’s Italian restaurant with views across Patong Bay. When you feel like exploring, Patong’s shops, restaurants, and nightlife are close by, while Phuket Old Town and Wat Chalong offer a different side of the island.

One of the highlights of the trip is your half-day speedboat adventure to the Khai Islands. The three small islands are known for their clear water, white-sand beaches, and easy snorkelling, making this a relaxed way to see more of the Andaman Sea. Expect colourful fish close to shore, plenty of time in the water, and the fun of travelling between the islands by speedboat.

Next, the pace changes completely at Elephant Hills in Khao Sok National Park. You’ll spend time at the Elephant Camp, explore the rainforest by canoe or on foot, take part in a Thai cooking demonstration, and enjoy meals with the dramatic limestone scenery of southern Thailand around you. Your accommodation here is particularly memorable, with stays in both the luxury safari tents and the floating Rainforest Camp on Cheow Lan Lake with views across the water towards the towering limestone cliffs.
