Your first stop is Flåm, a small village at the end of the Aurlandsfjord and a great starting point for seeing Norway’s famous fjord scenery. Take a trip on the Flåm Railway, which climbs towards Myrdal past mountains, valleys, and the Kjosfossen waterfall, or spend some time around the waterfront. You can also call into Ægir BrewPub for locally brewed beer and Norwegian-inspired dishes before returning to the ship.

Next, you’ll cross the Arctic Circle and continue north to Tromsø. Often called the ‘Gateway to the Arctic’, the city has a strong connection to Norway’s polar history alongside plenty to see around its waterfront. Visit the Arctic Cathedral, head up the Fjellheisen cable car for views across Tromsø and the surrounding mountains, or simply explore the centre at your own pace.

From Tromsø, you’ll travel even further north to Honningsvåg, the gateway to the North Cape. One of the big experiences here is a trip to the North Cape plateau, where cliffs rise around 300 metres above the Barents Sea, and the famous globe monument marks one of Europe’s most northerly viewpoints. Back in Honningsvåg, colourful houses, fishing boats, and local seafood give you a feel for everyday life in this remote part of Norway.
