After your first stops in Norway, you’ll arrive in Skjolden, sitting at the end of Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord. The journey into port is unforgettable, with mountains rising on either side as Majestic Princess travels deeper into the fjord. Once ashore, this is a great base for experiencing the surrounding waterfalls and mountain scenery, with Jotunheimen and Jostedalsbreen National Parks among the region’s natural highlights.

Next, you’ll cross to Iceland and arrive in Akureyri, set at the head of Eyjafjörður in the north of the country. The city has a relaxed feel and a compact centre that’s easy to explore, while the surrounding region opens up opportunities to see some of northern Iceland’s best-known sights. From here, days ashore can take you towards places such as Goðafoss waterfall and the landscapes around Lake Mývatn before returning to the waterfront in Akureyri.

Your Icelandic journey continues through Ísafjörður and Grundarfjörður before reaching Reykjavík. Iceland’s capital is a chance to explore landmarks, including Hallgrímskirkja and the colourful streets of the city centre, or head further afield to see the geothermal landscapes for which this part of Iceland is known. It’s a fitting final port, bringing together Icelandic city life with easy access to the island’s waterfalls, hot springs, and volcanic scenery.

Throughout the journey, Majestic Princess is your base between each destination. You’ll stay in a Balcony Stateroom, giving you a private outdoor space for taking in the fjords, mountains, and coastlines along the way. Days at sea give you plenty of time to enjoy the ship too, whether that means relaxing by the pool, settling in for dinner, catching a live show, or simply watching the scenery from your balcony before reaching the next port.
