Hi, I am Richard Swinburne, your personal Travel Counsellor.
I am a travel expert with over 30 years of experience in the industry.
My love for travel started when I embarked on my first adventure to become a Ski Guide in the French Alps. It helped shape my personality and gave me the opportunity to learn customer service skills, which I still use to this very day. I am as enthusiastic today as I was when I started my career in travel, but now with the advantage of a wealth of expertise in the industry and personal knowledge of the 97 countries visited to date.
My travels and holidays have been very diverse, including expedition cruising to the Arctic circle, the Galapagos and Antarctica, and stargazing in Hawaii, to name but a few.
I am fortunate to have visited all seven continents, having specialist understanding of the Americas, Asia, Australia/New Zealand and Europe.
Some of my favourite destinations are the Galapagos, Hawaii, Cuba, Russia, New Zealand, the Maldives, Chile, Brazil and Argentina. I love exploring different cultures, both ancient and modern.

I am able to plan your itineraries, whether simple or complex, book hotels to meet your requirements, give health and visa advice, even booking restaurants or making sure your passport is up to date. Nothing will be too much trouble. I will be on hand from the very beginning, whilst you are away and after you have returned. Early morning or late evening, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Any monies paid are 100% financially protected, as ALL your money is placed in the Travel Counsellors Trust Account until you have returned from your holiday.
