Hello, my name is Rob, and I am an independent Travel Counsellor based in Edinburgh where I live with Sarah my wife, two daughters and Lola our yellow labrador.
I offer a truly personalised travel service and love to plan unforgettable travel experiences and holidays.
My travel journey got off to a slow start; I didn’t get on a plane until I was twenty when my first flight was to Venezuela to start exploring South America. Since then, my travelling has only been curtailed by that minor irritant that is work and I have enjoyed some extraordinary opportunities travelling for both leisure and business to 65 countries across six continents. The seventh, Antarctica, remains on my wish list.
Organising the best possible trip has become a growing passion for me. Holidays are precious times for us all and it would be a real privilege to help you have the most fantastic experiences and to create unforgettable memories.
Whether it’s a bespoke holiday of a lifetime to South America, a villa in Tuscany, a quick beach break in Greece or a holiday cottage in the Lakes I am here to help you. Ski holidays, cruises, flights, car hire, hotels and adventures are all available and, in all cases, I provide a personal service, listening to you to really understand what is important and removing all the stress of searching and booking down to arranging airport parking, restaurant reservations and booking attractions.

All bookings made through me are covered by the Travel Counsellors Financial Trust and frequently ATOL, offering you 100% financial protection in the event that anything goes wrong. My service extends from your initial enquiry through until your return from your trip. If anything goes wrong during that period, I will be there to assist you and supported by the Travel Counsellor 24/7 Duty Officer when you are travelling.
