So, what is a Disney Ambassador?

Within Travel Counsellors, Disney Ambassadors are a small, carefully selected dedicated team who work closely with Disney Destinations. Our role is to support the wider Travel Counsellors community, sharing knowledge, insights and first-hand experience to help create truly magical Disney holidays for our customers.

It also means working closely with Disney to support their latest sales messages, updates and campaigns, making sure that information is clearly understood, shared effectively and ultimately helps grow knowledge and confidence across the business.

We act as that bridge between Disney and Travel Counsellors, ensuring everyone feels informed, inspired and ready to create incredible holidays.

It means staying constantly up to date with everything Disney - New offers, new rides, new ships, new experiences… even the little changes that can make a big difference to a client’s holiday.

Because with Disney, the details matter.

What it means to me 💫

Honestly? It’s personal.

Disney has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From visiting Walt Disney World as a child, to the films, the music… it’s always been something that’s made me feel something special.

It’s the way a song can instantly take you back to a moment, the smell as you walk down Main Street, that feeling when you step through those gates and everything else just… disappears. That kind of magic stays with you.

And now, I get to be part of creating that for other families.

This doesn’t feel like work… and that matters

Curating Disney holidays, whether that’s a park stay or a Disney Cruise Line sailing— doesn’t feel like work to me.

It’s exciting. I genuinely want my customers to feel that same anticipation, that same joy, before they’ve even left the UK. And knowing I can also support other Travel Counsellors to deliver that same level of experience? That means a lot.

Because every single booking is someone’s “once in a lifetime”… even if they go more than once. The moments I’ll never forget.

Yes, there are perks to the role… but it’s the people that make it. Last year, along with Disney and my lovely friend Laura, another Disney Ambassador,  we took 15 Travel Counsellors to Walt Disney World who had never been before. Watching their reactions, on rides like Avatar Flight of Passage, seeing the emotion during the fireworks… that was something special.

Those are core memories. Not just for them, but for me too.
