An amazing, enjoyable, fun and awe inspiring trip to Iceland, managed from start to finish by Sharron. In 4 days we took a boat into the bay off Reykjavik to see the Northen Lights, visited the Blue Lagoon for a swim in 38 C water with an outside temperature of -10 C, spent a day touring the Golden Circle that included a trip on a snow Mobile and a visit to an amazing waterfall, and had time to visit 2 museums and a few bars and restaurants in Reykjavik. We have just returned from an amazing bespoke Icelandic adventure put together by Sharron Whetherly who personally accompanied our party of 11 on the trip. The holiday was one of constant surprises and unbelievable beauty wrapped in the unfamiliar experience of a very cold climate! The Skuggi Hotel was not only cosy and welcoming but amazingly close to the transport pick up spot for our varied excursions and only a minimal walk to the Reykjavik Main Street that contained a variety of restaurants and shops to delight and entertain us. This convenience was only the icing on the cake that covered the main events, namely, the spectacular Northern Lights (yes, we saw them), a surreal visit and dip in the Blue Lagoon, an amazing tour of The Golden Circle which revealed the true beauty of the terrain and snow mobiling on a glacier. I defy anyone to pack more into a three night stay. The travel arrangements were faultless and she even organised the weather which was bright blue, cloudless skies for our entire three night stay. I have recently had two separate trips to North America at short notice. Both involved a busy schedule and a significant number of internal flights and transfers. I tried planning the trips and spent hours on the internet.
