Welcome — I’m Tamara, Your Personal Travel Counsellor 🌍

Travel has always been an important part of my life. My passion for discovering new places and cultures began at a young age; travelling to many different places around the world with my family. My Dad was a tour operator and an excellent holiday planner! We travelled all over the Middle East, the UK, USA and Europe. Every destination brought unforgettable memories. I have many memories of visiting unique places, being immersed in stunning landscapes, connecting with our family who are scattered all over the world, visiting old and making new friends, observing local traditions place to place and enjoying delicious food (my stomach was always the top priority and still is!) Those experiences became the foundation for my love of travel and future career.

A little about me; I studied Law and graduated with a Masters from UCL in 2007. I soon realised my heart belonged elsewhere and joined my family’s travel business, where I organised group pilgrimages around the world to many destinations. Working closely with group organisers and leaders, I gained invaluable experience in designing specialised, meaningful travel experiences; from sacred journeys to cultural adventures with groups ranging from 15 to 400 people. I have developed an extensive knowledge and expertise in travel operations and dealing with group bookings and their specific requirements.

My own travel highlights include hiking through the desert in the middle of the night to the Dead Sea for the sunrise (and then promptly falling asleep on a rock) exploring the spectacular caves of Frasassi, joining a walk and music evening in Petra, partaking in a Cretan sheep shearing fiesta (complete with copious amounts of meat, wine and improvised music) celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico, tasting my way through the markets of Nablus, Istanbul and Japan, watching my clients Baptisms in the River Jordan and walking the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem. I have been very privileged to join and be a part of many of my clients Spiritual journeys over the years. Every experience has shaped how I plan and personalise travel for others; with care, curiosity, empathy and attention to detail.
