It has to be said that I am one of the most fussiest people when choosing a holiday/short break, everything has to be perfect. My family and I were incredibly disappointed at the prospect of not travelling abroad this year due to COVID-19. As I am a teacher, I book my summer holiday a year in advance every year and I’m super organised and particular about accommodation and the area we stay in. As a single parent I need to ensure I’m near good links to restaurants, amenities and that we stay central. I had booked Cyprus in November 2019 and we were looking forward to holidaying in Protaras. We are real holiday goers so the idea of not having a vacation was pretty grim for us. As soon as my holiday was cancelled in July I started to look on line for a UK based holiday, I was able to find some beautiful properties but found trouble finding anything available as I had left it quite late to book. It was at that point that I contacted Toulla at Travel counsellors. I have never used a travel rep/counsellor before and I was a little sceptical. However straight from the word go Toulla was incredibly professional and accommodating, which put my mind at ease. She was easy to contact and very thorough in her research to making sure all my wish list was ticked off. Toulla made the whole process very quick and easy. I had complete faith in her and as a result of this I felt very confident in my decision. Our holiday destination was perfect as we were set in a very picturesque town on the East coast, with many activities that the boys enjoyed including paddle boarding and were lucky to have a good selection of lovely restaurants and cafes to chose from. Most of all our accommodation was perfect! It was set on a beautiful farm with delightful views of the countryside but still only a short drive from everything we needed. I was so impressed with Toulla’s choice that I will be contacting her again to organise our trip away in February. I highly recommend Toulla’s service.

Organising a hen is not the easiest of things to do, especially when you’re unsure of where to go for a hen in February! However, Toulla looked around making sure she’d find an area that had good weather and that catered for all of our hen needs. I have to say the weather was beautiful in Madrid.
