We went to Turks and Caicos, a Caribbean island, last November for 11 nights and it was amazing! To put it simply, Turks and Caicos have some of the nicest beaches I’ve ever seen. I’ve been to a lot of beaches in my life, and I was floored at how consistently beautiful the beaches are here. It really is where dreams of made. It’s surrounded by some of the largest sandbanks in the world allowing for crystal clear blue waters that stretch on for miles and miles. It is truly a beach paradise. The diving is also fantastic here as reef sharks are pretty much a guaranteed sighting. We stayed at the luxury all-inclusive Beaches resort. It is one place where you can go over and over again and still find something new. It is a family-friendly all-inclusive beachfront resort that will wow you in all respects. The resort is broken into four Turks and Caicos resort villages: Key West, Italian, Caribbean, and French Village. Each of these areas has its own feel and amenities. All water sports, even snorkelling, scuba diving, windsurfing, kayaks, and water tricycles are included at this all-inclusive family Caribbean resort. The equipment needed for these water sports is included too, as well as any instruction that is needed. My husband being PADI qualified took full advantage of the unlimited driving! The food at Beaches Turks and Caicos is amazing. We had over 23 restaurants to pick from, our favourite was Neptune's Mediterranean cuisine, but Ellie's favourite was defiantly the Mac 'n' cheese van next to the pirate's water park. I would highly recommend making reservations for Kimono's, the Japanese steak house that comes with a side of humour and impressive singing 'the wheels on the bus go round and round' Beaches Turks and Caicos has six swimming pools in all. There are active pools with dancing, music, games and tons of activities throughout the day. Both families and couples can be seen enjoying themselves. The resort also has “quiet” swimming pools which are designed more for adults. However, all are welcome everywhere. Families will definitely be spending a large amount of time the Pirates Island water park which includes waterslides, a lazy river, swim-up bars, a surf simulator, and poolside activities. There’s so much to do here. Don’t miss the Sesame Street parade, it is a MUST for families with young children. Actually, it’s a must for everyone, get into the Caribbean spirit with dancing and music. It’s totally safe to leave the resort, Turks and Caicos are one of the safest Caribbean islands, It’s not easy to leave this ultra-all-inclusive resort but give it a try! This was truly one of the best holidays I have ever had and we will defiantly be returning!
