I love Grenada

I don't know exactly what I was expecting from Grenada, but it exceeded everything I thought I would expect.

This is by no means your average Caribbean Island, It is the safest Caribbean Island, will the lowest crime rate. Grenada hasn't been hugely developed, infact only the south and south west coasts have been developed with hotels. The East coast is rugged with the rough Atlantic Ocean, and has not been developed by tourism at all, the north of the island is beautiful rainforest.

This magical Island seriously captured my heart, known as 'The Spice Island' , spices are an everyday part of Grenadian life here. The people of Grenada really are the most warm & friendly people I have ever met, one of our tour drivers actually told me "The people of Grenada have too much love in their hearts", they really are incredible people, that will do anything for you.

Grand Anse beach would be my favourite place to stay, you really don't need to be all inclusive there are so many local beach bars along this almost 2 mile stretch of beach. You are also super close to the island capital of Saint George's, which is just a short taxi journey down the road.

Grenada is an island that offers more than just a beach holiday, the diving was some of the best I have ever seen, there is also the worlds first underwater sculpture park, Rainforests, waterfalls, wildlife and the incredible chocolate made here on the island.

There are not many places I would do back for a second time, but Grenada has captured my heart, and I will be back soon.
