With more than 20 years’ experience in making holidays and travel accessible and inclusive to all, it is with great excitement and anticipation that I join the Travel Counsellors global family of award-winning travel professionals. It’s going to be an amazing journey!
In my previous role as General Manager of one of the UK's leading accessible tour operators, Accessible Travel, I was able to establish a unique insight and understanding of how to create holidays and travel that meet the requirements of customers with even the most complex access and mobility requirements.
I have enjoyed seamlessly making holidays accessible and my comprehensive service includes, assistance through airports and on flights, adapted transfers, guaranteed accessible rooms, through to hiring of equipment, nursing care and accessible excursions.
Having curated holidays, just not for a specialist market, along with drawing on my travel experience through more than 50 countries, I instinctively match holidays and listen to my customers’ tailoring holidays to individual needs and requirements. I love finding out where you’ve been and where you want to go, because sometimes travel is about heightening your imagination and finding those things you never knew you were looking for.
But of course, the most important relationships over the years have been with my valued clients, many now friends. It is so rewarding that you are already allowing me the pleasure to plan and book your future holidays and travel. That means so much. But what is really exciting about being a Travel Counsellor is that I will now be able to offer an almost unlimited range of destinations and holiday opportunities to everyone, that simply cannot be matched by any other travel organisation. Zoëtry Marigot Bay St. Lucia is located in the heart of the island, nestled in the most beautiful Marigot Bay, lined with exotic palm trees and filled with the deep turquoise Caribbean sea. Glittering yachts line the marina with a steep backdrop of dense lush jungle. We explored the island on horseback, and snorkelled in azure seas next to the famous Piton mountain twin peaks. This impressive hotel is built into a steep hill on Marigot marina, (not recommended for anyone with limited mobility), the views are incredible. The several pool areas are lovely, and spread over the resort plus there is a swim up bar. It is all inclusive, and has no buffets at all, everything is a la carte- including room service. The mini-bar is well stocked. Cafe Coco on the marina has delicious fresh pastries/cakes cooked on site and coffees/teas all day, a real highlight and an exclusive little rum cave bar offers private dining and rum tasting. This five star resort is authentic and the rooms are traditionally furnished. I stayed in a master suite which was huge and the suites can be connected together to offer joined accommodation for large families or a group of friends. The resort does welcome families, but due to many steps and no children's facilities, I would not deem it is as family hotel for children who liked to be entertained. Activities are hosted such as yoga under a pagoda in the open air and also guided walks. Boat trips from here are easy, as boats can dock at the hotel’s private jetty to collect. We went on a catamaran afternoon to view the Piton mountains with snorkelling and lunch, and would highly recommend. We were even joined by a pod of playful dolphins who raced the boat and played in the bow waves which was magical. The concierge at the hotel can organise boat trips plus a range of activities like zip lining or horse riding too. The hotel is set on a marina, so there’s no official beach area. The harbour is beautiful, a green and lush cove surrounded by dense trees and plants. The hotel provides a water taxi to take guests from one side of the marina to a small beach on the other side of the bay. There are plans to open a beach bar with hotel sunbeds on this strip of beach in the future. We also visited St James's Club which is going to be renovated to a Secrets adult only hotel. We got to see the renovation plans and a prototype of a room. It will be opening at the end of this year and I’m super excited to see the transformation! Accessible rooms will also be available.

Absolutely no question about it! Would recommend Ali to anyone, for any type of holiday - you just know that everything will have been considered and it will be suited to your exact needs. We have the added complication of travelling with our disabled daughter, but Ali works with you to find out what assistance is required and handles everything for you, communicating with you all the way through the booking process. Hi Ali! Well, once again you have come up trumps with what was really, quite a complicated package this time! Everything flowed beautifully through India, domestic flights and cars, and the hotels were superb! Ali is very easy to talk to discuss holiday requirements. Nothing is too much trouble. She came back very quickly with the original holiday quote, offering a choice of two very suitable hotels. We chose the one we wanted and even asked Ali to make a slight adjustment to the travelling dates and times which she completed in no time at all. This is the second time I’ve used Ali to book a holiday and I am very pleased with how it has all turned out.

I always unintentionally make life hard for Ali, changing direction, altering the brief and constantly adding bits on and taking bits off. I have a large family with lots going on so end up dumping everything in her lap. I'm always amazed at how quick she comes back to me, never forgetting any of my random requests even down to the tiniest detail. She's brilliant and a real pleasure to work with. Nothing was ever too much to, despite the numerous changes and amends due to covid, date and requirement changes! Ali Parker is fantastic and helpful and has placed several of my clients on great holidays this year, despite the uncertain travel restrictions. This is the second time that Ali has arranged a holiday for me - the first one, last year, was quite a one-off, being just myself on selected railways in India; also, at the very start of the Coronavirus problem! Everything ran like clockwork; your reps were excellent, and last minute adjustments due to a flight cancellation, were handled with great care and speed! This is the reason that two of us have asked Ali to handle a two-week stay in The Gambia, which has been done with her usual speed and professionalism! Excellent!

My wife had a stroke some years back which left her in a wheelchair. Ali has managed most of our holidays since, helping us get to Crete, and more recently, a cruise to New York. The cruise was eventually aborted but Ali took care of all the details with a clear understanding of our specialist needs. I have no hesitation in recommending her services and will certainly be contacting her for our next trip.

Our holiday was just incredible; the best we’ve had yet! When we emailed months ago with a list of what we wanted you met every wish and created the best holiday - there is no way we could have done it without you!
The hotel was just perfect; they couldn’t do enough for us and provided an excellent service with delicious food and drinks a plenty. The kids were hooked on non-alcoholic daiquiris all week!
We created the most wonderful memories in Barbados and fell completely in love with the island; it had history, culture, safety and is inhabited by the most laid back and lovely friendly people.
Thank you so much for your work in putting together the perfect holiday and ensuring that it was so easy! TC ted was a huge hit with the kids and loved his holiday too!
