Alison arranged the perfect holiday to Rome for me and my stepmum, we had a specific airport and budget range in mind. Originally wanting to be city centre Alison advised us on a location outside of the main city called Piazza Bologna, a minute away from a metro stop. This ended up being our perfect location and would recommend to everyone going to Rome, the quietness in the evenings among friendly locals and cheaper food and drink prices was a bonus, coffee in the morning with a large filled croissant at the café adjacent to the hotel being only €2.80, for example. The metro runs late at night, is very easy to use as there are only two lines, and it takes little time at all to get into the city centre at all times of day whatever your plans are. A little letter waited for us at our hotel from Alison wishing us a great holiday and we had private transfers on arrival and departure that ran smoothly. We had the best time in the eternal city and would recommend Alison to everyone.

This trip to Toronto and New York was fantastic, we travelled as a family of four. The travel counsellors app was very easy to use with all our documents in one place. Alison was excellent, it took me a few months to get the trip booked and we requested a few different quotes, nothing was too much trouble and the quotes came back very quickly. The trip was seamless and we received a lovely welcome note on our hotel arrival from Alison. The airport transfers were excellent and always early, the itinerary was very easy to follow. I would definitely book through Alison again and we have been telling all our family and friends about the ease of booking and the price was no more than booking with a high street travel agent but with a much more personal service. This is our first experience of booking with an independent travel counsellor and definitely won't be our last.

I wanted to do something special for my husband's 50th birthday. He'd always wanted to go to Rome so I asked Alison to look at a 3 day trip which was also child friendly for our 11 year old daughter. We have just returned and the trip was brilliant. It included a pizza making evening and a Gladiator tour of the Colosseum, we had plenty of free time to walk around and take in other sights. The hotel was lovely and central enough to walk to each destination or catch the hop on hop off bus. The car to and from the airport was an added touch. Alison took away the headache of planning this trip and delivered the perfect family weekend break. Bravo!
