I stayed at Sandals Regency La Toc for 7 nights in an Emerald Oceanview Walkout Suite, right next to the main pool, bars and beach. This was perfect for us as we like to be closer to everything but there are lots of other room types and areas of this resort to stay in ….

These hideaways are ideal if you love the idea of spending time alone together, lingering over room‑service breakfast and slipping into your own pool as the sun sets.

Beachfront and poolside rooms: If you prefer being closer to the action, there are stylish rooms and suites near the main pools and beach. These tend to be popular with couples who like to alternate between the sand, the bar and the water sports centre without ever being too far from their room.

These include classic Caribbean grill and beachside favourites for relaxed lunches with your toes in the sand, Pan‑Asian and teppanyaki‑style venues where chefs cook right in front of you, Italian and French‑inspired restaurants, casual snack spots including a pizzeria and pool bars and they even the English Cricketer's Pub!

Because this is Sandals, premium drinks, speciality coffees and a good range of wines are all part of the all‑inclusive package and, of course, the real magic comes when you add in the restaurants at the other two Sandals resorts in Saint Lucia as well, giving you a huge combined choice of cuisines and atmospheres across the island!

Pools, beach and activities: as chilled or as active as you like: At Sandals Regency La Toc you can enjoy: Beautiful outdoor pools with swim‑up bars and plenty of sunloungers and parasols, A wide sandy beach ideal for sunbathing, swimming or simply strolling hand in hand, water sports included such as hobie cats, paddleboarding, waterskiing and snorkelling, usually with equipment and tuition available. Scuba diving for certified divers, which at Sandals is typically part of the all‑inclusive experience, a well‑equipped gym, golf closeby and daytime entertainment and activities from pool games to low‑key competitions and classes. In the evenings, the mood shifts to live music, themed nights and shows, or simply sipping a nightcap at one of the resort’s atmospheric bars.

During our stay we did a catamaran daytrip which passed by fishing villages and to the majestic ‘Pitons’ (St Lucia’s two mountainous volcanos), stopped for a trip to the Sulfur Springs in a drive-in volcano and a dip at the Totaille Waterfalls and then, after lunch back onboard, we snorkelled over a protected reef.

Stay at 1, Play at 3: unlocking the best of Sandals in Saint Lucia: One of the biggest benefits of choosing Sandals Regency La Toc is that you can enjoy the “Stay at 1, Play at 3” concept. While La Toc is your base, you can head out and make full use of the facilities at the other two Sandals resorts on the island, Grande St.Lucian and Halcyon Beach, with transfers typically provided between them. This means you have more beaches to discover, more pools to relax around, more restaurants and bars to experience and more evening entertainment to dip into when you fancy a change of scene. So your all‑inclusive stay becomes an island‑wide experience, with three distinct atmospheres and settings to enjoy.

Sandals have a dedicated lounge for your arrival at St Lucia. This is lovely as you wait for your transfer with arrival drinks and snacks. The transfer by road took around an hour but you can also book a ferry or helicopter transfer if you prefer. 

We absolutely loved St Lucia and would love to return to stay at one of the other two Sandals resorts on the island.
