Review of Travel Counsellors Trip to 5 locations Dawn and Lindsay at travel counsellors ensured our trip was memorable. It was a difficult trip to organise as it was like 5 holidays in one. There was lots to coordinate with flights transfers and accommodation. Thanks to them everything went smoothly. It was extra challenging as we had some mobility issues but Dawn ensured there was the help we needed at each airport. We stayed in lovely hotels and enjoyed time to explore and relax in all our locations. Dawn and Lindsay checked in to make sure we had boarding passes etc but was never intrusive. We felt confident at all times that had we had a problem she would have helped resolve it. By using travel counsellors we had the benefit of Dawn’s knowledge of the places we wanted to visit, Qatar, New Zealand, Australia and USA. Dawn could not have done a more perfect job for us and the level of customer service was first class. After trawling the internet for days 'reasonable' flights we paid three times for flights to SA through a comparison site only to discover these flights were full and should not have been available on-line. Refunds came back within 2-3 days but at over £2K a time - the resulting cash flow problem and blocking of my bank card was a complete hassle from beginning to end. One call to Dawn and she confirmed the flight we were after was full whilst I was on the phone and managed to find suitable alternative flights within a few minuets. Incredible and professional service all round. Dawn came highly recommended by a work colleague and I understand why - we will definitely use her services again.

I asked Dawn to find me a holiday that would be a mix of sun and culture with good food, sea view and a place where I'd be comfortable as a single traveller. She was a complete star and liaised with the airport, the hotel and the travel company for me. She then found me another flight for the following day and booked that for me. Although I then had to travel from Birmingham to Gatwick, I lost less than 24 hours of my holiday. Although it was a stressful situation, her attitude and support made sure that it wasn't a disaster. And she kept in contact with me on a regular basis until she knew I'd arrived at the hotel in Rhodes and then again to ensure all was OK for my journey home. A complete star.

I have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Luxor. Our Travel Counsellor, Dawn Gascoigne, came up trumps once again by recommending and booking us a wonderful hotel – the Steigenberger Nile Palace. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially the pool attendants and the tennis coach who happily made up a four on three occasions on the new rooftop court. We had a room with a Nile view which was spacious and spotlessly clean. We were on a half board basis and thought the food was excellent, particularly the New Year’s Eve spread which had to be seen to be believed! There are also three other good restaurants within the hotel, two which offer half boarders discounts. I liked the hotel layout which encompassed a lovely courtyard area and the pool which overlooked the Nile. The view of the sunset each evening was spectacular especially from when sailing on a felucca, with a delightful waiter serving us canapés and cocktails! Dawn never lets us down with our holiday arrangements – I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone, whatever their requirements or budget.
