Hi I am Deb, I am your locally based Bristol Travel Counsellor.
I began my travel career at 16, straight from school, as an apprentice (a YTS, as it was then) in an independent travel agency, and I have been passionate about creating holidays ever since. After five years in travel retail, I moved into the tour operator world with a large Australia and New Zealand specialist, where I loved the challenge of designing complex, tailor‑made itineraries to Australasia, often weaving in multiple stops around the world along the way.
Following a couple of managerial roles and a brief spell outside the industry, I found my way back to where I belong and for the past eight and a half years I have successfully run my own business under the Travel Counsellors brand, using my experience, destination knowledge and personal service to create bespoke journeys that are as individual as the clients I look after.
When I am not booking Customers Holidays you can always find me planning my next adventure as I am happiest when I am on my way to a new destination or experience, having been so lucky to have many wonderful holidays including trips to Thailand, Australia, Canada, Maldives and so many more. I believe the best way to sell a destination if you have first hand knowledge.
