From Three Weeks to Honeymoon Bliss: Tom & Sarah’s Corsican Escape

When busy professionals Tom and Sarah got married, they knew exactly what they wanted from their honeymoon… they just hadn’t had the time to plan it. Running their own businesses, life was hectic. Finally they found one precious week in their calendars. The only catch? They had just three weeks to plan their dream honeymoon! 😳
After their wedding back in November ‘25, my lovely clients Tom and Sarah, had an incredibly busy time building their respective businesses and their honeymoon plans had drifted further away. Suddenly it was Summer ’26 and they had still not got round to organising their special trip, but at last they had an opportunity to escape for a week and celebrate.…but they only had 3 weeks to plan it!
As busy people, the thought of planning a last minute honeymoon that had to be perfect was filling Sarah with dread.
So I was delighted when Sarah came to ask for my help to plan their dream getaway, so I could take the strain and stress away and all they had to do was look forward to a wonderful honeymoon. For such a special trip it was all about the details, and it had to be just right and meticulously organised in every way. So I set to work!
The Brief
Sarah and Tom are discerning travellers, but from the first moment we sat down to discuss their dream honeymoon, I had a great feel for the destination and style of holiday they were seeking. The brief was specific, near to beaches and clear waters, short distance to village and eateries, boutique property, amazing views, and set in a tranquil environment far from crowds and noise.
An Idyllic Retreat in the Corsican Maquis
The dream destination - Corsica, and the stunning 'A Piatatella' hotel, set in the heart of the Corsican Maquis, with breath-taking views all around and the peace and serenity they were seeking. For the first time in a long while, they were able to spend precious time together and truly switch-off and relax in beautiful surroundings.
The hotel was refined luxury, authentic yet super stylish and cosy, with nature at its heart and the aim to blend in with the natural surroundings. With discreet but attentive service, and just 17 high-end rooms, it was a place to relax, recharge and forget about the outside world and simply be.
They loved exploring the local beaches and swimming in the crystal clear turquoise waters in nearby coves, spending lazy afternoons relaxing poolside watching over the spectacular mountain views and taking their time to visit hillside villages and nearby towns for delicious meals in the evening.
Everything taken care of...
Of course, a beautiful hotel and destination are only part of creating a truly memorable honeymoon.
What Tom and Sarah really valued was knowing that everything had been taken care of.
They didn't have to spend their evenings researching hotels.
They didn't have to compare endless options.
They didn't have to worry about whether they'd chosen the right location, accommodation or experiences.
And they certainly didn't have to try to piece everything together themselves.
Instead, they could simply relax and look forward to their honeymoon, knowing the planning was in safe hands.
I took care of the every detail, including those special little touches that can turn a lovely holiday into something genuinely unforgettable.
And then came the best part...
When Tom and Sarah returned home, they were relaxed, happy and full of wonderful stories from their week in Corsica.
And for me, that was the best feeling, knowing that I’ve taken away the stress and uncertainty of planning and replaced it with a trip that feels completely personal to them is so rewarding.
