Tucked away in the tranquil valley of Kerridge on the edge of the Peak District, this hotel is a charming base for a dog‑friendly escape. Set in a historic country house dating back to the 19th century, it combines period character with modern comfort and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
It is in a Peaceful, rural setting and the hotel’s valley location gives a real sense of escape without feeling remote. It is an easy drive to the likes of Macclesfield and other pretty Cheshire villages for pottering, pub lunches and independent shops. With the Peak District National Park close by, this is prime territory for scenic walks. Rolling hills, woodland trails and classic dry‑stone‑wall scenery are perfect for energetic dogs and owners who love the outdoors. There is a lovely restaurant and bar at the hotel but there are also a couple of other bars within walking distance in the village.
